Andrew E. Newman is a member of the Board of Trustees of Washington University and chairman of Hackett Security Inc. He previously served from 1995-2007 as chairman and CEO of Race Rock International.
Newman also serves as principal for Culinary Essence LLC, and has held positions as chairman of Edison Brothers Stores Inc., and with the Office of the Secretary of Defense. He is a member of the boards for Lee Enterprises and the “I Have A Dream” Foundation of St. Louis.
Newman earned his bachelor’s and master of business of administration degrees from Harvard.
